Most of us have never given much thought to them, outside of their intended purpose. To bring forth light The flashlight that used to give us such a thrill when we were kids(depending on what year you were born), hint…(they were all metal then), has now moved into the present century and taken on a very purposeful upgrade.
These trusted purveyors of light, now have the capability of fully protecting an individual and many of them have built in personal alarms. The main feature is of course, the stun gun feature. Stun flashlights come in a number of sizes, the most popular, small and large.
The small stun flashlight besides being bright, has a 80,000 volt stun gun, with a 130 db personal alarm. It’s all built in. The body is made of fiberglass reinforced plastic and comes with a free leather holster.
The large flashlight also comes with a free holster along with a very strong beam. An attachable red cone for signaling a danger warning is part of the offering, also a 130 db alarm and a 200,000 volt stun gun, housed inside of the fiberglass-reinforced plastic. In my opinion, having either one of these in the self defense arsenal is a plus and a must. I lean slightly in favor of self defense weapons that don’t require an assailant to get right up on you before it is used.
Don’t get me wrong, it depends on the ability of the individual also, which in my book, favors the longer stun flashlight. I would not want my wife, girlfriend,aunt, sister or mother to be at possible risk because they were simply overpowered by an assailant who invaded their personal space.
This can go for men also. Especially, if you have had no formal hand to hand combat training as some of us have. Even then, it’s always best to avoid direct confrontation unless you have run out of options.
The stun feature is very intimidating to most people, and this is further enhanced with a larger and bolder self defense flashlight.Either way you can’t go wrong. Especially if you’re one of those who believes that this fallen world will somehow become real nice one day. Wake up! smell the coffee, and get some self protection gear.
